A great place for growth

Pros

The company truly cares about individual growth. Your manager will work with you to create a plan for you to grow. A lot of emphasis on transparency throughout the company. Everyone knows exactly how metrics are looking on any given day. Leadership is also very transparent with the decisions that are being made and why. Individual contributors have a huge level of autonomy to drive projects in the ways they think is best to succeed. A lot of decision making is bottom up rather than top down.

Cons

None that I can think of!

Pros

CareGuide is extremely agile and allows for growth in all areas. I've had the opportunity to work in a dev-ops, CI/ID, kubernetes infrastructure, rails backend development, react frontend development, and project leadership capacity. The management team is extremely transparent and open to feedback, and the pace is reasonable. The health benefits are fantastic. The culture is extremely open and transparent, and allows for an amazing work-life balance. We're also extremely experimental and data-driven. Decisions always feel like they're made based on facts and reality and not solely on the opinions of leadership. I legitimately love working at CareGuide.

Cons

Remote work can be tough for human interaction, but the head of culture does her best to make sure we all get together every quarter. Working for an agile product team means you need to be a great communicator and open to feedback from others, if that doesn't sound like your ideal culture you're probably not a great fit.
