Pros

The organization is a staple in Gainesville community. The founder lef a wonderful legacy and most of the employees are ordinary good people and hard working.

Cons

Leadership is unethical, treats employees with little respect and value. The president of the organization micromanage because she has trust issues. She makes irrational decisions and does not value the recommendations of middle management. High turnover and can be let go/fired for any reason. The leadership lacks good judgement and doesn't know how to manage conflict amongs employees - so environment can easily become toxic and unproductive.

Pros

Great project to be a part of. Despite the obstacles and the toxic environment, the teams that have come and gone there have brought a lot to the center.

Cons

The abusive instability of the owner/CEO leads to an insanely toxic work environment. She spends more time suing people and getting her many lawyers to attack community leaders, contractors and subs, past employees etc. than she does actually helping the business-or getting out of the way so the people who know how to develop can do so.

Pros

Nothing about this was a positive experience.

Cons

1. very shady business ethics 2. president of the company engages in mistreatment of employees and expects others to follow suit 3. there is zero work/life balance and the president of the company reinforces that behavior by emailing/texting/calling employees 24/7 and expecting immediate responses. 4. ZERO ability for career advancement 5. your salary is your salary and do not expect a christmas/annual bonus of any kind. the president of the company does not believe in rewarding performance so employees could receive a $20-$50 gift card or nothing at all. 6. when faced with criticism, the president blames everything on employees rather than accepts faults, guilt, and feedback. 7. Talented employees tend to leave within 3-12 months. There have been 4 CFOs in the past 18 months at this company.
