Blue Engineering was a very young company when I joined, this meant that there was plenty of room for trying new things. We got to establish and grow the staff culture, implement new systems and processes, all with the flexibility of a small company which was growing steadily.
Cons
At times the fact that it was a young company with little structure meant that there was not the progression planning that larger organisations would have had. It was also a very young workforce, so there were few experienced managers to train and develop.
Colleagues were great, good social, I learnt a lot
Cons
Expected to work over capacity. Lack of experience within company to learn from. Over dependence on Apprentices - bad overall company structure so was apprentice heavy
