Expect you to work outside of work hours

This organization expects you to work outside of working hours to plan lessons and write reports. They make this very clear that they "can't tell you to work outside of your hours, but we expect you to come with a plan for your session". They would say the same thing about notes, "Well, we can't tell you to work during your lunch break, but that's when a lot of other employees get them done". I now work in payroll at another company and realize how illegal this is. This organization also prizes itself on its training method, but it is horrible. I've worked at well run ABA organizations before that make you feel supported as a staff member. This place makes you feel completely alone and like you're always messing up. They will tell you when you're doing it wrong, but intentionally not give you any instruction of what they would like you to do instead. They want to see if you can figure it out or not. There were also schedule changes last minute that I wouldn't be informed about until moments before. So I would prepare a session for the client I was scheduled to be with that day only to be switched to another client with moment's notice - and then was reprimanded for not being prepared with this client. It may sound like that was my fault, I missed a change - but no. I am a very responsible, organized person who stays on top of things like this. Lastly, the potential pay scale they advertise is not realistic. They made it clear that only a few exceptional employees get the high end of the scale - it is not something you'll easily grow into.
