Pros
The technical staff that have managed to survive more than 1 year are the only saving grace. Competent, willing to teach, and they deserve better. They have a temporary kettle.
Cons
Be prepared for some of the most toxic, controlling, and hilariously incompetent low/mid level management. If you like it when your managers (you will have more than one) fill your day with meetings about having other meetings, and then having to play catch-up on all the work you missed, you will like it here. If you like constantly being asked for your input (you will hear the phrase "if you have any concerns, just call it out" ad nauseam), but always having it disregarded, you will like it here. If you like having your KPI's (affecting performance/salary review) being tied to achieving certifications that you must complete outside of work hours (unpaid of course), you will like it here. If you like raises that don't even meet inflation, you will like it here. If you like dangerously high turnover in your office (you will be asked to do the work of two employees), you will like it here. If you like to have a 20 minute meeting about your workload before you're allowed to leave for a family emergency, you will like it here. They DO have a kettle though. This is one of those companies that teaches you exactly how an office shouldn't be run, which is maybe the most valuable experience I got from my short time here. Whenever I'm faced with a tough decision in my current role, I always think "what would Applicable do?". Then I do the opposite of that. Also check out the fake reviews. Look at this, they didn't even try with this one: "Awesome" Current Employee - Anonymous Employee Positive Outlook Approves of CEO I have been working at Applicable Limited full-time Pros Friendly colleagues. Active social scene. Challenging work. Cons Not the best choice of coffee.
