Some coworkers are great and truly deserve more recognition for the work and hours they put in.
Cons
There are many but I will only name a few to help job seekers know what they are getting into. If you’re looking for a place with consistent flexibility and/or at least understanding during a pandemic, do not even interview. They do not trust their employees to work from home and would rather see butts in seats at an office even though you can’t use conference rooms or meet with anyone else while there. Leadership is out of touch, too much oversight from the parent company because ANG leadership is so underdeveloped. The turnover rate is insane at all levels. People do not stay because they are overworked and unrecognized. If your offered a job, yes you will probably get a decent salary (that’s how they get you in) but you will work 24/7. There are no days off with this company, you are expected to respond/work 7 days a week and you will not be recognized for that extra work. Work life balance is nonexistent, so hopefully you don’t have a family if you do accept a job. Assume you will work during any vacation as well. They are struggling through which contracts to go after because there are no processes in place and leadership just does whatever. They are wasting time and resources to lose contracts they do not have the experience for. This shows the company is starting to lose money on current contracts due to inexperience and cannot win future contracts. Lastly - nepotism runs extremely strong. If someone is related to someone the leadership will bend over backwards to move that person around the company until they find the “right fit” even if they aren’t qualified for the position they end up in.
