Pros

The one notable advantage of working at this company is the remote factor of this job. They also offer a good benefits package.

Cons

Working at Affirm was an absolute nightmare! The never-ending training sessions were a total waste of time because they just kept piling on more without giving us a chance to absorb anything. And as if that wasn't enough, the management had the audacity to gaslight us by slashing our wages and laying off a bunch of people, leaving the remaining employees to pick up the slack without any compensation. They expect us to do the most work for the cheapest rate, like we're some kind of cheap labor force. But it doesn't stop there. Affirm has no qualms about breaking rules and crossing country boundaries, pushing their American regulations and laws onto other countries. Talk about unethical practices! The only redeeming quality is that the job is remote, but trust me, no amount of money is worth putting up with this silly mess.

Pros

monthly forma wallet benefits were decent

Cons

- micromanaging leaders (don't expect to have ANY type of breaks outside the 1 hour lunch they provide) - disorganized work environment ( you're told 1 thing by HR, and then leaders will tell you another, but policy is something different) - incompetent leaders - don't expect help or support from leaders as well as I have asked for assistance multiple times which ended up with being ignored or redirecting you to ask other people for help in which they have no knowledge of - be advised that there is various of systems you need to use just for daily clock ins and outs, lunch, vacations, sick leave, etc

Pros

- Good work culture - Great people to work with - Opportunities for growth

Cons

While the workload for the international employees is as intense as the US employees, the compensation is much much lower for international employees. It totally makes sense that the pay is not as high as the employees in the US based on the local labor cost of each country, however right now it is even not as competitive as the local tech company while the work life balance is worse than a lot of local company for the international employees.
