Pros

After work drinks, and some company activities.

Cons

My experience is terrible. The entire company is centered around 4 people. (2 executives, and their friends) I was promised at the interview a reasonable salary, a carrer growth and all sorts of little benefits like flexible working time and training budget. What I've got was extreme micromanagement. (Especially time management) Work scope expands exponentially, because the leads don't do their job and just work on interesting for them tasks, all day. We were told that particular people are "untouchable", by our own manager. Team leads late for daily standups daily, even when we started working from home, and no actions are taken against them, but when somebody else who is not from the big 3 is late, heaven falls. Manager incapable of holding professional character, and shows up negative and abusive attitude over the team for every problem that occurs. (Including personal attacks, manipulation, and all the extras) Company politics is a big thing. You need to stroke certain people's ego, to make it in this company. You don't have to be good at your job. Every attempt for a technical fix you make, is an insult to your lead and your manager, so you will just be shut down. They like people to keep quiet. Product deadline been shifted for nearly 1 year and a half now. Team leads are abusive and manipulative. (Stay alert and keep all conversations and emails close, since you will need them to prove that) They've fired entire departments, just because they don't like them. There is no policy for a salary rise, you need to ask for one.

Pros

The company has a bar They don't expect you to work after hours

Cons

The team has been unable to produce a single major release in nearly 9 months, constantly pressured by management based on promises made to the CTO that things will be done by an unrealistic deadline, without properly consulting with the people producing code. Developer opinions are ignored unless you're a team lead or manager. Will pay you as little as possible, regardless of time spent at the company or value to the business. Go-to threat is taking away weekends, but they never follow through, leading to morale loss. Inexperienced management team.
