The Fort Frances Family Health Team is looking for a full-time permanent Nurse Practitioner, RN (EC). This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment planning for patients in a team-based setting.

Skills and Qualifications

· Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse Extended Class (EC).

· The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for their Full Scope of Practice as a primary healthcare provider across the lifespan; including health assessments, immunizations, diagnosis, acute and chronic care management, and all other associated duties and functions.

· Current RNAO membership; evidence of liability insurance as per college standards.

· Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records system an asset.

· A vulnerable sector check is required.
