We're a human based, founder led, portfolio of local businesses building something rare on Vancouver Island.

About the role

You'll be the marketing operations lead across the business portfolio group of companies. You'll work alongside our co-founders on master marketing strategy, then you'll execute. Day-to-day you'll coordinate content shoots, manage written content, run analytics and reporting, plan paid ad strategy, manage influencer relationships, and keep everything we produce on calendar and on brand.

You'll work with our full-time video editor, two videographers capturing content daily, our Chief of Staff who handles scheduling, and the leadership group. Your job is to make this team produce great work consistently and to keep raising the bar.

What you'll actually do

• Build annual + quarterly marketing plans with the partners and operating CEOs
• Coordinate efficient content shoots: batch days, multi-brand sessions, no wasted time
• Write and direct written content across brands: blog posts, newsletters, landing pages, ad copy, founder content support
• Manage paid advertising strategy across Google, Meta, LinkedIn (executing or directing freelancers depending on your background)
• Own analytics + reporting: what's working, what's not, what we test next
• Manage influencer relationships, local partnerships, brand collaborations
• Own SEO + AI search optimization across our websites and content
• Keep the production engine humming: reels, long-form YouTube videos, written posts, plus stories and static posts across the portfolio

What we're looking for

• You deeply understand founder-led content. Behind-the-scenes, real, human, not the polished corporate stuff that gets scrolled past. You can name 5 creators doing this well and tell us why they work.
• You have an understanding of modern SEO and how to rank in AI search. If you're still optimizing only for Google, this isn't your role.
• You understand how it all connects: Google Business Profiles, social platforms, YouTube long-form, blog content, paid ads, email, direct mail, in-person events, local partnerships. Things have changed, old ways of marketing is over, must understand new age of marketing and content.
• You're comfortable with the technical side: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, HubSpot.
• You write well.
• You're equally comfortable thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves to execute.
