    Pros

    Cons

You live at work A lot of pressure, with no 'downtime' High turnover

    Restaurant Brands International Response

We worked together on the People Team, so I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your colleagues--unfortunate that it wasn't enough to balance your experience. I'd love the opportunity to hear more of your feedback so we can improve your former role. We can and will do better as a People Team and managers. We have already seen it a lot with the Employee Experience Team's initiatives, and our last pulse check gave us some great insights that we are sharing with managers. We are measuring, developing, and changing. Thanks again for the feedback, and your time on the People Team. Best, Jeff

    Cons

    Restaurant Brands International Response

    Chief People and Services Officer

As GBS is part of my org, 1) thank you for your contributions to the team, and 2) if I did not address your issues while you were with us, my sincere apologies. Totally hear you that the workload can be heavy at times, which is why we have streamlined our MBOs to help people focus on and prioritize what matters. Culturally, one of our core values focuses on what gets done and how it gets done. This is why we have 360s annually, leadership and management training, and we've recently implemented our Tuesday Tips and Speaker Series to help mental health, goal setting, time management, and other elements of overall wellness and wellbeing. Apologies if we were too late for some of these, but nevertheless thanks for the feedback and for making the time to leave a review. Best, Jeff

I worked at Restaurant Brands International full-time

    Pros

Lot's of learning opportunities. Will be given the reigns relatively early.

    Cons

High middle management turnover results in difficulty keeping momentum going on projects.

    Restaurant Brands International Response

    Chief People and Services Officer

Thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear that you learned a lot and got a lot of responsibility early on--we value the experience that employees build super quickly at RBI. Our turnover has been high historically, but we have made a lot of strides bringing it down--mainly focusing on the employee experience in a way that we never have before, including creating a team dedicated to it! Our turnover is now very low, and we will work to keep it that way going forward. Best, Jeff

Thank you for sharing your experience. Over the last year, we’ve taken a hard look at what we can do to make sure our culture is one where everyone is included. This isn’t an easy problem to solve, but we are committed. This year, we created a new team focused on Diversity, Inclusion and Employee Experience to make sure we’re creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. Additionally, we launched new company values this year that intentionally include diversity, because we strongly believe that diverse voices and perspectives make us stronger--and our north star is that everyone in the company sees and feels this. We are working to recruit and promote more diverse talent into leadership positions in our company, and to make sure that everyone who is here has their voice heard. We are continuing to launch new initiatives to support our D&I efforts, and hope you’ll keep an eye out to see what we’re doing. If you’re interested in sharing more about your experience so we can learn from it, please feel free to reach out to me directly (jhousman@rbi.com). Thanks, Jeff
