I applied online. I interviewed at snuggs in Jun 2026
Interview
The application process for a Visual Designer role included a substantial unpaid design task completed prior to any interview. The brief covered a banner, email, and social ads. The work submitted went significantly beyond that — including a full homepage redesign, responsive mobile version, complete email, Meta campaign assets, SVG illustrations, and a 6-page rationale document.
The outcome was a rejection citing "fit" with no specific feedback. A follow-up requesting more detail went unanswered.
Candidates should be aware that the process may involve considerable unpaid work with no guarantee of feedback or further communication.

Interview
I applied for a Marketing Trainee role at snuggs where, as part of the application, candidates were required to submit both a video cover letter and a detailed case study. This took me two full days to prepare. After all that effort, I received a standard rejection from a no-reply email, which also stated that the company doesn’t provide feedback. So there was no way to even ask for clarification or learn from the process.
Looking through Glassdoor, I realised I’m not alone — this is already the third review where applicants mention investing time in case studies without receiving any feedback. At this point, it starts to feel less like a genuine recruitment process and more like free idea sourcing under the guise of hiring.
If you’re considering applying here, be aware that you may invest a lot of unpaid time and receive nothing in return — not even the courtesy of constructive feedback.

Interview
I applied online and had an initial interview with a recruiter, followed by a case study assignment. I completed the case study while traveling on vacation, putting significant effort into it, but after submission, I received a rejection with no explanation or feedback.
For a leadership position, this felt like a poor candidate experience. Providing at least brief feedback especially after asking for substantial work would demonstrate respect for candidates’ time and effort. The process felt transactional rather than reflective of a company looking for senior talent.
