First of all, they've tried to obscure the actual position by calling it a manufacturing engineer position which isn't entirely accurate, it's an estimator position. Second, they interviewed me on the pretense that they were willing to train since they are a small that is having trouble actually hiring someone with experience. The interview seemed fairly easy but most of the interviewers are obviously unexperienced in interviewing as they mostly asked me very basic questions about my resume or awkwardly meandered on about their personal lives. That part was mostly fine, but I was rejected because they did not want to train me even though they had previously decided they were willing to. They also never reached out to tell me I was rejected, I had to ask the recruiter I was working with two weeks later.
