Dumpster fire! I might as well join the circus. At least I'd get paid to jump through all of those hoops. Complete disregard for candidates' time under the assumption that this no-name brand has more pull than the world's top employers. Unclear communication of expectations and next steps. "Laid back" environment is code word for disorganized and inefficient. Multiple other red flags about the work environment. Worst candidate experience I've ever had. The only reason I continued through each step of the process was the intent that I'd be able to fix it and sheer curiosity to see how much further they intended to take it. Unfortunately, the owner's success in medicine inflated his head so big that he believes he knows better than a proven professional in their field of expertise. He openly admitted that they were struggling to find the right people. However, he wasn't willing to resolve their biggest problem or even consider a new strategy with proven best practices, backed by numerous studies.

As the lengthy selection process progressed, it became increasingly clear that they were exploiting job seekers' aspirations for employment to gain free consulting expertise, seeking extremely detailed insights and walkthrough guidance, to train a couple of their office staff employees how to do basic recruiting since they have such a low volume of hiring needs. Any rebuttal response claiming innocence or lack of a culture fit will be praying on the naivety or desperation of job seekers. Examples: 1) What techniques do you utilize in recruitment (how does this differ by position)? 2) In detail, walk us through your recruitment using Linkedin Recruiter process. From creating a job description to onboarding of the candidate.
