      Cabin Crew Interview

      Nov 16, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at easyJet (London, England) in Sep 2018

      Interview

Upon arrival everyone was sat in the easyJet cafe at Concorde House, this is a chance to get to know people and chat, chill out - We sat around for almost a hour before they started to take paper work and height measurements. After this was complete we all got taken upstairs to a large room set up with 10 tables. Once sat we were shown a video and given a presentation about the company and could ask a few questions - they didn't go into details about salary/contracts etc at this time. They also asked the room as a whole what they knew about the company - have at least 3 facts prepared, just so you can put your hand up regardless if they choose you to say your fact, if you have more facts the better because likelihood is someone will say your fact before you do. We then took part in a group exercise with the people on our table matching items, destinations and age with passengers - it was timed, the result was not important. Me and another then got moved to another table for the second exercise - they normal do this if they like the group needs switching up to get more/less out of people (Don't be worried if they move you). The second exercise was a scenario based exercise based on the aircraft with passenger requirements e.g. wheelchair pax - what can you do to help, pax honeymoon, unhappy pax etc. Third exercise was to create a new lay out for the easyJet in flight magazine. - It doesn't matter what the out come of any of these exercises is, there is no wrong or right answer - it is all about team work and showing off you as a person! Then we stopped for lunch (1 hour) - after which they took us back upstairs and split the us into two groups, one group got taken out of the room and told they were unsuccessful and we got the good news that we were progressing onto the next stage - interviews. We had a second presentation going into detail about salary, benefits, contracts, routes, etc after that we had 2-1 interviews. The interview took roughly 30-45 minutes - but there was no cut off. From what I saw - the age old story - people who dominated and didn't listen got rejected and people who didn't talk at all/didn't contribute.
