Interview
I had applied for the role of Business Technology Solutions Associate (BTSA/BTA) via referral. Coming to the requirements, the profile requires SQL skills. I have read so many interview experiences from various websites and all of them are say ZS asks case studies primarily. But this time that wasn't the case. Coming to the rounds.
1. Aptitude (45 minutes)
First round is an aptitude test on the Talview platform. The test is proctored and you have to solve 50 easy-medium difficulty questions in 45 minutes. The questions are a mix of logical aptitude, few CS fundamental, data interpretation, English grammar as well as comprehension type questions.
2. Technical Interview (60 minutes)
This round is a technical interview round which is taken by Monjin Platform (a vendor hired by ZS to help in interview process). I had heard that case study and guesstimates are asked in ZS interviews, but that wasn’t the case with me. He asked me 15-20 standard SQL theory questions, 5-10 hands-on SQL queries (easy), a few managerial/HR questions (project management, SDLC, SRS).
3. EBI + Fit Round (30 minutes)
This is the final round which is taken by a ZS employee (Senior Manager in my case) on the Zoom Platform. He had asked me some hands-on SQL queries (SQL joins), some theory SQL questions (delete vs truncate vs drop, SQL keys), an easy math puzzle and a guesstimate (total security budget involved in Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in Mumbai).
The HR contacted me the next day and offered me the job.
Lengthy and time consuming but process is very good nothing casual and systematic I cleared 3 rounds and in the last round I didn't get positive feedback. So process was nice but we can't say how they judge you even in the last round and reject you.

Overall experience was good, prepare basics of SQL, be strong in database management and prepare puzzles, why zs is most frequent question

Should not fumble and be confident
Mini case study -no calculations , Easy theory questions
Case study solving- has graphs and DI
Have to be quick

HR is last round of the process
