The interview process took about 3 weeks. I had two interviews. The first was with the recruiter who reached out to me after I applied. This was a phone call. She asked me behavioral questions (tell me about a time you failed, tell me about a time when you didn't get along with a coworker/manager) and also asked me to do a sales pitch (leave a voicemail for someone who has missed 3 meetings with you). She told me at the end of the phone call that I was moving onto the second round. The second was with a senior sales manager. This was a two-part interview: the first 30 minutes consisted of watching a video describing a typical day in sales at Yelp (group Skype call where they asked us questions about the video like "What did you like/did you not like about his sales approach?"). Then they hung up and the interviewer asked questions. She asked more behavioral questions (What do you think are the most important skills for a salesperson?) and had me do a sales pitch. For the sales pitch, I was to choose an item I was passionate about and sell it to her. She gave me feedback on my sales pitch and had me redo it while keeping her feedback in mind. Then, she asked me what I think I would be the worst at in sales. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and outgoing.
