I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Xebia in Sep 2020
Interview
The HR connected with me on LinkedIn. Two rounds: Technical and Managerial. Technical is basically coding as well as theoretical questions. Managerial was sort of a cultural round. Both of them were on video call interviews.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Xebia (New Delhi) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was given a assignment which was supposed to be done using Spring ,RestAPI and JAVA.
I created the project and submitted on time. I was told that since I've cleared the assignment so now I will have the Video Technical Interview.
Video interview was 4 days after I submitted the assignment.
Interviewer wasn't clear with the questions . His questions weren't direct , it had lots of assumptions and impossible scenarios as well.
I am mid-level-engineer but questions asked were for higher level but I was able to answer 70-80% of them.
I provided main logic for all the questions and approach to solve coding problems but the person who was taking interview , he was more interested in code's representation . My interview was being taken using google sheets and interviewer was from Architecture team , he was turning on/off the video call again and again which was very distracting.
2 days post the interview, I got an email from Xebia HR stating that they aren't able to see my assignment which I submitted as a part of first step so I need to submit it again. I did that too then post 3 days, I asked the status of my application then HR told me that interviewer hasn't given his final verdict over my application yet. Post 3-4 days , I asked again and my application was rejected on the basis of poor coding skills.
I read glassdoor interview reviews that interviewers aren't good and I totally agree with it.
Questions weren't direct and impossible scenarios were being asked.
Interview Process was lengthy and not clear as at first they said I've cleared the assignment submission round and then they said that I need to submit it again.
If coding skills were poor , you should've rejected the person post 1:1 interview only. why asking them to submit the same project again and again and that too when I submitted a complete working Project and still got rejected . May be Xebia is looking someone from NASA or ISRO !

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Xebia (Noida) in Sep 2020
Interview
They scheduled video call for first round.Interviewer didn’t even went through to my resume and started asking about testing and things which I didn’t mentioned in resume.
It was pathetic interview I ever faced.
They are very rude and misbehaving in their interviews. So I suggest don’t waste your time with them.
