      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Jan 19, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wrike

      Interview

Unprofessional and rude taken to a new level! After initial phone screens they wanted me to fly to San Jose to interview. I declined because I had another offer that would expire during this time. They contacted me yet AGAIN and said could we do a 3 or 4 hour zoom video and they'd give me a decision the same week. I accepted since that allowed me to keep the other offer pending. During the zoom process the first person was the VP. The first thing he told me is that he didn't see my resume or LinkedIn profile because he prefers to "not know" about the person's background before he meets them. However, someone should probably clue him in to the fact that I could tell he actually looked at my LinkedIn profile two times in the previous two days. Off the bat I know he's playing games. He was a bit pompous and wanted me to know that he was also a college professor. Next was hiring manager who was friendly and professional. No issues. Next was another manager who seemed agitated and gruff. First question from her was illegal, as she asked where I was "from" originally. (Duke MBA no less) The last person was about 15 minutes late to the zoom video because he was traveling. However, he took the call from an airport bar where he was slamming a HUGE beer DURING the interview. It was so incredibly noisy that we could hardly hear each other. but very telling that he was OK with being late to an interview so that he could get his beer and wings in place before taking the call. What a complete jerk. Last, the recruiter NEVER called back or sent a note to say they were going a different direction. Seriously, you ask me to jump through hoops and not accept an offer in hand so that you can interview AND promise to follow up but then never do? If they didn't want to hire me that's fine but they owed me the courtesy of letting me know so that I could take the other offer. 4 of the 5 people I dealt with were unprofessional, jerks, and played games. The 2 with the highest level of education were the ones asking illegal questions and too silly to know understand that I can see you looked at my LinkedIn profile. They never followed up as promised to let me know to accept the other offer and they were slugging beers during the interview. Pompous Jerks.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

most of their questions had absolutely nothing to do with the job. The one nice person who was professional did ask pertinent questions, but everyone else asked me personal information about myself. They clearly wanted to hire someone else, or someone who fit into their beer slugging, rude, pompous, overly-educated yet somehow clueless, group. Good luck with that.

      Manager, Customer Success Interview

      Dec 4, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Wrike

      Interview

All I got to do was schedule a recruiter call, but the recruiter never showed up and did not answer my email when I followed up. The recruiter last minute rescheduled the timeframe, I confirmed the new time frame and then was a no show. It would be one thing if they apologized and answered my email, but nothing at all. This company seems to be doing bad fiscally, so I think I think it was net positive for me.

What time can you meet? Can you reschedule your interview last minute?
