I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Workday (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2026
Interview
The recruiting process was one of the most disorganised I have encountered in my career.
The recruiter no-showed two scheduled calls with no communication or apology. A rejection email was sent to me in error while I was actively being scheduled for the next round — never acknowledged. A preparation document was promised for the technical interview and only arrived hours before despite two follow-up emails. After completing the R2 panel interview with two senior engineers, I received zero feedback and zero communication after several follow-ups.
The technical interviewers themselves were professional. But the recruiting process that showed complete disregard for candidates' time and effort.
How a company treats candidates during hiring tells you something about how it treats employees.
I would encourage candidates to weigh the full picture before investing significant time in this process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview covered two main areas — behavioural questions around core VIBE values and a technical panel focused on Python design patterns, LangGraph, agentic AI systems, and RAG pipeline architecture. The technical round was conversational rather than a coding test, focusing on real production experience and trade-off reasoning.
