first step introduction call.
then coding test
3rd step talk with another eng manager
4th step talk with HR
5th step (didn't get there) talk with hiring manager.
the coding challenge was easy.
the eng manager that i spoke with seemed frustrated, tired and on the brink of burn out. didn't leave a good impression.
it was only at the 4th interview, hours into the process that they bluntly asked "what's your current salary" and then revealed that their range was -15k from my current.
I explicitly said "don't let my current salary be a problem for this process".
2 days later i received the automatic communication that i was excluded.
I asked for feedback, again stating explicitly that given that i was hours in i would have appreciated some.
they never replied.

Question 1
given an array of numbers, return an array that contains the number of times a number occurred and then that number
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Wisnam in Feb 2025
Interview
We got a first HR call, during wich I was told that there would have been five steps (including that first one) for the process to complete successuflly. We scheduled the second step (coding interview) the very same day. The guy was nice, we had fun wile solving the (easy) assignments. Then, I got notified it was a pass and scheduled the third step with the guy currently holding the position the interview aimed to replace. The guy was tired, but it was nice talking to him and generally I got good vibes from him. Again, I got word that I was going to move to the next step. This third step would have been with another HR call with someone from the local branch for the position I was interviewing for. I logged on but nobody was there. I waited 10 minutes and still nobody showed up. I wrote an e-mail to the contact address I got from the video interview invitation. 5 minutes later I got back an email from someone else telling me that the person I was scheduled to meet was not able to log in and providing me a new video call link. I was a little taken aback but nonetheless I logged onto the new MS Teams call. The new interviewer was a polite guy. We talked a lot and I was under the impression that he was satisfied with me. He explicitly stated I'd receive an email with further instructions, either an invitation to the final offer step or guaranteed feedback, regardless of the outcome, emphasizing the feedback multiple times. I was quite happy with the process at this point, willing to overlook the of the HR lady not showing up.
BUT.
I never received any email, not even in my spam folder. After investing almost three hours into this process, I was simply ghosted.
