First we had an online test where questions on general aptitude were asked. In the next section, we had a technical round of 30 questions, mostly based on basic programming syntax and data structures in C. If you clear both sections, you'll be immediately notified by the web page, and you'll be required to write an essay of 300 words on a topic given by the computer. This will be mostly to test your English grammar, but consider yourself selected for the next round. Then will be the technical interview. The interviewer, knowing that I was Mechanical, didn't ask any programming questions. He asked about my achievements, took my opinion on a social issue. After giving a not so satisfactory answer, I was cleared!
