I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Mansfield, OH) in Feb 2015
Interview
Easy. You have to apply online, and then you should call the store you applied to about a week later. I got an interview shortly after that, where I was asked only one question and hired on the spot. This company is always short on people so it's not to difficult to get a position as long as you're not picky about what part of the store you want to work in.
Very quick and easy, just your typical average interview. Nothing really much else to be said but apparently that's that. It's an interview, not really anything else beyond that. Didn't feel any way about it, neutral.
Submitted online application then had one-on-one interview with the manager. Chatted about availability and food safety knowledge. Also was asked about customer service knowledge. Heard back from the manager within a few days.

Question 1
Do you have experience with a meat slicer or fryer?
It went well. Smooth not too hard. There were two people. They asked me simple questions. Generic interview questions. Its walmart. If you work hard they will appreciate it. Just takes a while to advance.
