I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Walmart (Mississauga, ON) in Sep 2016
Interview
You complete the online questionaire.
2-3 weeks sometimes a month later you get a call.
They invite you to an interview.
They ask you a few questions, correct some of your answers - if need be - and then, tell you they'll call you later.
Invite you to a meet-and-greet: but once you get there they ask you to demo with the managers.
You have to complete a background check.
They'll call you a week later and then schedule orientation.
You do the presentation portion and then the video orientation on two seperate days - both paid.
And then, you'll do a formal orientation/training with your department manager and that's basically it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if there is a spill on the floor and there's a customer waiting?
Phone interview and then asked to come in for in person interview. The hiring manager asked typical interview questions. Why do you want to work here? And asked bout scheduling availability,
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
Solid and very well informative process. It was straightforward and well put together. I really enjoyed the people that I interacted with and ultimately chose another route due to time constraints.
