attended three rounds of interviews — the first was online, and the second and third were face-to-face. I performed well in all rounds, answered every question confidently, and solved the DSA problems with strong accuracy and optimized approaches.
Despite this, the entire process felt unprofessional and like a waste of my time. I had to take leave from my current company to attend the in-person interviews, and after the final round, I even received positive feedback from the HR team.
Later, they mentioned that my salary expectations were too high. I clearly stated that I was open to negotiation and willing to reduce my expectations. However, instead of proceeding transparently, they later informed me that the position was “on hold.”
This kind of handling is extremely disappointing. It feels like poor coordination and a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional.
