      I applied in-person. I interviewed at VitaTek (Los Banos, CA)

      Interview

      Lack of Communication: From the start, communication was poorly managed. I did not receive any confirmation of my interview time until the day before, which added unnecessary stress to the process. Following the interview, I did not receive any feedback for weeks, despite multiple follow-up emails. Unprofessional Conduct: During the interview, the interviewer arrived late without any apology and seemed unprepared. There were moments when it felt like they were not actually listening to my responses, as they kept looking at their phone. Ambiguous Questioning: The interview questions were vague and didn’t relate well to the position I applied for. Many questions felt generic and did not allow me to showcase my skills or experience effectively. For example, I was asked, "What do you think of teamwork?" instead of questions that could relate to specific projects or collaborative experiences. Poor Environment: The interview environment was distracting, with background noise and an apparent lack of professionalism in the office. It gave me the impression that the company culture might not be conducive to productivity or innovation. Unclear Next Steps: Finally, there was no clarity on the next steps after the interview. I was left wondering when or if I would hear back regarding my application status, which was frustrating and unprofessional. Conclusion: Overall, my interview experience with VITATEK was unsatisfactory and did not instill confidence in the company or its management. I believe that companies should value candidate experiences as much as they value client experiences, and unfortunately, VITATEK seems to fall short in this area. Recommendation: I would suggest that VITATEK invests in improving their interview process, focusing on candidate communication, interviewer preparedness, and creating a more welcoming environment for potential employees.
