I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Glen Mills, PA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Interviewed on the spot - as soon as application was turned in. Interview consisted of store manager asking questions of myself and another applicant - it was a 1 on 2 interview. Simple "what-if" questions as well as relations to previous jobs/employers. Interview was very laid back and interviewer was very outgoing
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was a difficult time that you had getting around a problem with employer or co-worker / how did you handle it?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
