I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Verse Medical
Interview
The recruiting process felt poorly screened and inexperienced overall. I was contacted directly by the recruiting team, yet it became clear in the process that my background was not aligned with what the team was actually seeking. Better upfront qualification and communication would have avoided wasting time for everyone involved.

Basic questions about background and how a approach a said situation
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verse Medical (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Easy going people to talk to. phone screening, then met with sdr manager and director of sales, then both again with vp of sales and chief of staff. mock sales call was done with sdr manager and director of sales (2nd round, 4 rounds total)
1. Initial call with a recruiter
2. 90 minute live coding with an engineer
3. 4 hour onsite (3 hour coding + behavioral)
Issues
- Things would get lost in emails. The recruiter asked for things I already sent in.
- I sent in my availability and the recruiter scheduled the onsite outside of my availability. I had to reach out to reschedule.
- The onsite was canceled A DAY before it was supposed to happen. This was after I already canceled other plans and spent HOURS preparing for it. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Big waste of time.
