I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing growth engines at some of the world’s most successful cloud software companies and I’m honoured to be leading Vena as we pursue our mission of helping thousands of organizations Plan to Grow. Our FP&A platform improves the operational health of our customers by connecting people and enterprise data, resulting in better planning and reporting, more strategic decision making and an elevated role for finance.

People are very friendly, collaborative and motivated. Not just within each development team, but across all the teams, and across different parts of the business.
The company is good at figuring out what it could do better, and putting in place the right processes, and where needed, hiring the right people, to drive change.
The product is very powerful and hearing how customers have benefited from it or things they like about it is always motivating.
Lots of great perks (education opportunities, employee recognition events, amazing holiday party every December, great snacks).
The office space, while beautiful, can be a bit noisy at times. Noise dampening should be a priority - acoustic panels, more carpets. Meeting space is hard to come by, but the company is addressing that with some future office space expansions.
Advice to Management
Keep focusing on the culture. It's what makes Vena such a great place to work and we don't want to lose it as we grow.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Vena Solutions (Toronto, ON) in August 2020.
Interview process was on par with other interviews in that industry. The first step was a phone interview with an HR rep. The second part was a video interview with the director of sales and the HR director. Third round was a case study.
