First part of the interview with department leaders was great. Asked generic interview questions about ability to do job and for examples where certain relevant skills could be demonstrated etc. Both individuals were lovely. I was however made to wait about 40 minutes in the lobby before starting the interview.
The second half, with the CEO, was rather unpleasant. Started off asking questions relevant to the role, albeit in a stern tone (I have no problem with that). He then went on to ask what my parents did for a living, passed judgment on my taste in music and questioned why I hadn't found a job yet, 4 months after graduating. All questions asked were delivered in a smug, judgemental tone and it felt like whatever answer I gave, it was never going to be enough.
I came to Glassdoor after this interview and the reviews left confirmed my suspicions that the CEO was not particularly pleasant. I never heard back from them but I don't think I'd have taken the position if I got it.
