I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at UST in Sep 2020
Interview
I was told that there will be only 2 stages, after the HR call but there were 4 stages:
- Telephone call with HR
- Technical call: almost 1 hr, various questions mostly about QA and practices, devops
- Technical call nr2: almost 1hr (dont know why a second one...), questions around developing, .NET, memory management, OOP etc
- Call with the client or at least that what I thought it would be
The last call with the client, I spoke with someone from the internal team. I never understood why the client wasnt there but the discussion was around to prepare me for the the interview with the client.
After waiting for about a week, I send them an email just to ask if there will be a final call with the client or if the process is over, cause I wanted to decide for other interviews I had as well. They ensured me that I should wait, cause the process is over and I was successful, they wanted to proceed my profile but they were arranging the call with the client in order to meet me and then finalise everything else.
After another week, they sent me an email that they picked someone else to fill the position.
I wouldn't mind that but at least they should have not kept me waiting thinking that the interview is over and they are waiting for the client...
that is very unprofessional and dishonest
