The interview process began with the recruiter calling me for a screen lasting 15 minutes. During that call, the recruiter shared the salary range for the role. The next interview was another screening call; 30 minutes with the hiring manager who asked more questions about my experience and answered a few questions about the role. The final step consisted of five (5) 45-minute interviews over the course of a week. One was with a representative for the Twilio "magic values" and another with the hiring manager again. The three others consisted of potential peers and colleagues. Twilio provided a lot of information concerning their magic values (though these are prominently posted on their website) as well as how to prepare for virtual interviews.
