Technical interview with algorithmic trader asking math and coding questions like the ones in Green Book for Quant (Practical Guide for Quantitative Finance). Mostly using paper pen for both math and coding questions.

Give a closed form solution for finding nth term of Fibonacci to write python code that calculates answer in constant time.
Virtual technical interview with programming fundamentals, probability theory, statistics and math. This was the first round after applying. They have two more technical rounds before an on-site superday. Interviewer was very polite and extremely keen to know about my resume.

Stack, Virtual Functions in C++, Difference between pointer and reference variable
The first round of the interview for the Junior Algorithmic Trader position within TransMarket Group LLC consists in a programming exam that can be done in C++ or few other programming languages.
The exam can be done in one or several sittings. One has the possibility to log in and out as many times as needed and there is no timer running. One also has the opportunity to ask question on the Piazza page, in case one needs clarifications about one of the questions asked in the exam.
