The worst interview process I've ever experienced.
After applying I was sent a link to schedule a first interview which I attended with someone from the hiring team. This person was clearly uninterested in what I was saying, regularly talked over me and looked away while I was trying to answer. Completely unprofessional. They were also in a very noisy office so it was difficult to hear anything they were saying. The interview ended with the person saying I'd receive a video editing task after the interview.
A few days pass and I hear nothing, so I follow up on email about the video editing task. This is then sent over relatively quickly, with the task being to make a video for a brand with some pre-recorded footage. Over 200 clips were sent over, so it took a while to sort through the clips, put a video together and add in voice over, graphics, etc. Estimated completion time about 4-5 hours.
This was sent two weeks ago. I have followed up for a response three times and have been ignored. It's quite frankly disgusting to ignore applicants after putting in this much effort into a task and shows a complete lack of professionalism consistent throughout the interview process. Hopefully this company changes its attitude and quickly.
