I interviewed at The Venetian Resort (Las Vegas, NV)
Interview
I applied as soon as I saw the ad on the company website, it took about 3 days to get a call for a interview. Interview was scheduled for about 5 days out. Arrived at the interview at the career center I had to take a written test on alcohol, garnishes, glass wear, health department regulations, and liquor knowledge. Honestly very easy test unfortunately my nerves and lack of sleep got the best of me so I made a lot of mistakes that I knew the answers to I wish I could do it all over, I am experienced and met the requirements but I flopped and I knew it. 3 days later I received the dreaded rejection email. Manager was pleasant during the interview. Everyone was interviewed fast back to back. Just a FYI I was told at the interview you work at both properties not just Venetian or Palazzo.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, what is your availability, why do you want to work here.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Venetian Resort (Las Vegas, NV) in Apr 2023
Interview
This was a refreshingly new experience. Firstly, I was directly interviewed by the director. Secondly, they actually read my resume (I'm a grad student with 6 years of work ex) and instead of trying to grill me down, they put more of an effort into trying to recruit me. They asked me about my experience, but spoke at length about why I should take the job, how the people at the company are and how my life would look like over the next 3 months.
