I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Nottingham, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
Email back within a week of applying to book interview through there website. When turned up had to do a test that I didn't know about, Interview lasted a hour with 2 panel members loads of questions.
I had a connection within the organization so getting an interview was easy. It was a phone call, we meant for lunch. I don't really have much more to say about it. It's pretty easy to network within this nonprofit.
Come at scheduled appointment and be interviewed by two people on management team. If they want to proceed further, they call your references and upon receiving those, they decide to make you an offer.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Salvation Army (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2023
Interview
Very intensive panel interview. Asked many questions to decided if I was fit. Panel was a bit over an hour. The second interview was not pleasant from one of the directors. Interviewer was not in a good mood, and simply seem to not be prepared to have a second intervew.
