First I spoke with the hiring manager, explained my experience, filled out the official job application, learned about the job, etc. Then you go with that production manager to conduct a sewing test (all the machines they use are Juki). He will assess your skills and either assign you on the single needle or double needle (but you’ll have opportunities to learn more machines and techniques later on during your employment). If you do well, they’ll offer you a position on the spot!
