I dropped in my resume directly to the Customer experience manager and I got a call to schedule an interview with hr assistant and after a week was hired. Without any reference.

Pretty easy.
Interview was done in 3 steps
1st tell about ur self ur past exp,
2nd availability, why home depot
3rd situational questions - attention to detail, customer theft
20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview

Interview
Easy....mostly interested in your ability to be regularly on time with consistant attendence. My construction experience helped immensly in my position as Sales Associate in gthe hardware department. I becamr the highest paid associate in that department in just two years with 3 salary increases.
