Super simple and efficient. Asked mostly about my availability and any experience in retail. Also asked a lot of "what would you do" questions. Just come prepared knowing how to make customers happy

When was a time you convinced someone to buy something else when the original product they wanted wasn't in stock?
Phone interview was scheduled. Phone interview was relatively easy and fast. Interview was then scheduled in -store with Assistant Store Manager. Total process after being offered the position was about 30 days until start date. They have a policy that most new hires must start as a lot attendant, then, depending on your performance, you have the opportunity to move to an in-store position at a higher rate of pay.
As stated though, the hiring process took approx. 4 weeks. Be patient
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
It was a speedy and easy interview. I got an email for the interview and was offered the position right there on the spot. I got started with my training the following day. It was like that for many other staff members as well, they all also said it was easy.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Merced, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Easy and quick but you may wait a bit before heading back, once the process gets started. Simple questions, usually just a formality. As long as you do okay in the interview you’ll get through.
