Applied almost four months ago – the process required a lot of information to be written down, including a mandatory cover letter explaining why you want to work for the company. I spent a great deal of time on this application as I loved the brand and was a loyal customer. I can log in to their ATS and see that my application is still open, but despite messaging three people (over three times each) to ask for an update on the role (whether it has been cancelled, filled, or if I was simply unsuccessful), I have received no response.
I am not arrogant enough to think I deserve an interview, but given that I am also a customer (something I mentioned in my cover letter), I would expect a business to show some common courtesy and at least reject candidates — ideally with feedback, but at this point I would just accept a rejection.
I have since cancelled both my wife’s and my own subscriptions for our supplements through them. I would rather give my money to a company that treats its customers better.
