I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at The Class (New York, NY) in Aug 2024
Interview
6 weeks from the initial outreach to the decision made. I met with four people over Zoom (including the CEO) and the Founder in person at their office. There was a lot of prep and effort that went into the interviews, as I was meeting with people who had been at the company for several years (some from the very beginning). I also completed an assignment that roughly took 4 hours of my time, unpaid. All of that is for them to say they are reevaluating the role and will reach back out in 2025. It was an incredibly insulting and disappointing way to end things, stringing me along for all that time just to say they were not ready. My advice would be to ask for a timeline and steps outlined in the interview process so you're not blindsided like I was. To be honest, I would not have pursued this as intently if I had known I would have to meet with 5 different people at such a small company and complete an assignment that required me to create my own content.

Where do you see improvements in our social media approach? Are there other platforms you'd consider / re-assess? Have you taken The Class? What other brands resonate with you?
