Interview
Short application which includes in person assessments and interview as well as observation of practical performance in the classroom. Simple to prefer for and enjoyable if so. There were only a few other candidates present.

Question 1
How would you explain a difficult concept to a difficult child?
Standard interview. Some basic stuff around why you want the job, why you would be a good fit etc. There is then a short technical component where you are given an 11+ question. You must then give a full explanation as to how you would explain this to a student. You will go up to a whiteboard and solve the problem, with the interview panel asking questions.

Technical question from an 11+ paper. The question itself isn't difficult, they are interested in how you explain the solution.
Face to face interview with two people, asking questions about motivations and competency (including walking a year five student through a difficult Eleven Plus question). Interview was relatively relaxed in nature but does require you to think on your feet a bit.
