Interview
It was only the very first and short phone screen for 30 mins. I could not quite catch with whom I was speaking (internal recruiter or someone from the team), as the person was speaking so fast that half of the information just flew past… it felt from the very beginning that the person was not enjoying any of it and wanted to finish just quicker. It felt like he was annoyed just of my slower pace of speaking or the little breaks I took to think of the answers. He asked very standard PM questions and even interrupted without letting me finish the idea. From the very beginning it felt like I wasted his precious time. In general I realised, the fast way of speaking is intimidating and shows the lack of interest and disrespect to a candidate. Though the feedback was provided within few days.

Got an interview after two weeks of application submission. Everything went well until I shared my salary requirement and the recruiters face got dark and shut down the interview immediately. I didn’t think it was far off from what was shared in the job post.

okay. everyone was polite - but the expectation of specific knowledge about their product seemed off base. Overall it was easy, but I was able to tell I didn't want to work there.
