I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tesco (Sunderland, North East England, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
I went into the store, found the help desk and asked for the person conducting the interview. They said they'd call for him over the tannoy closer to the time, (I was 20 minutes early) and I waited, I was taken into the staff room and waited for about 20 minutes more, he came in and apologised profusely for being late, saying he'd had to reschedule some meetings for the interview. We sat down in a small room and he took my right of work documents, photocopied them and came back. Told me that it was only going to be 4 quick questions and nothing too casual, very friendly and nice, making the whole thing less nerve-wracking. He told me that he was very happy with each of my answers after I gave them, even helping me out a bit with one I got stuck on. The questions were alright, not easy but not the worst. Very friendly and quick, told me that he was almost positive I'd gotten the job, just needed to finish off the rest of the interviews.

Straight forward and joyful. The interviewer was nice and friendly. At the end his no verbal expression was more neutral and detached, making me realise I didn't get the role.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco
Interview
The interview was an enjoyable experience and not too difficult, definitely helps to draw on past experiences as this is what the questions are centred around. I found the interview to be quite relaxed and chilled as well, the interviewer was also really friendly and easy to get along with.
