The interview process consisted of 30 minute HR phone call, then 1 hour Face to Face with line manager, then final round 3 hour back to back interviews with Head of department and peers.
The f2f interview with the line manager did not prepare me for the final round of interviews. As the final round of interviews were looking for technical experience with tools not mentioned earlier in the process. This meant I had wasted taking a day off and spending 3 hours at Tesco's when it was easy to tell from the first 30 minutes that it wasn't a good fit.
The email from HR for the final round asks you to bring a laptop but this was not required for any of the interviews. The email states that there will be 3 interviews with certain individuals, on the day the individuals had changed making prior research useless. Apparently these changes happens all of the time but it seems unorganised. The interviews were split by 1 Stakeholder management, 2 Technical Assessment, 3 Methodology and Critical Thinking. There was no further information on what these interviews would involve.
