I applied online. I interviewed at Techneaux Technology Services (Lafayette, LA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Had a phone screening, and then a technical interview. They said they would follow up on their decision in about two weeks and got ghosted instead. They could at least send an automated email like most companies.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Techneaux Technology Services (Scott, LA) in Feb 2024
Interview
I had a phone screen, video interview, and panel interview in person. All three interviews were fine except the panel interview was quite strange. The two managers and technical guy were great. However, the two owners seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. One of them was playing on his phone the whole time and didn't say a word (not even kidding, didn't even introduce himself).
At the end of the panel interview, I was told I would be starting on their help desk in order to learn how they support their clients. This would be absolutely fine to me under the senior title I applied for with senior title salary. When I asked for ~$72k (I was making $67k in a similar position), I got told I would "be lucky to get mid 50's" by one of the owners. You can look at any review here and they all have one thing in common - "the pay can be better".
So I would be starting from the bottom on help desk, which I'm not interested in learning again. I did 5 years on a help desk already. We kind of left it at that and they said they would be in touch within 2 weeks and that they "weren't in a rush to hire anyone".
I was ghosted for about a month with no update, until I got an automated email saying that they decided not to progress my application. I mean really? No feedback or anything?

Interview
I did a couple interviews, both seemed to go well. You have to work there 2 years before you can work any days remote. The company ghosted me, I thought that was very unprofessional. How hard is it to send an email?
