I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (San Bernardino, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I applied online and less than a week I got a call. Without realizing it was a phone interview I answered a few questions and then they scheduled an in-person interview for two days after. When I got there I watched a little video on the different positions they have. After it ended I waited for a team leader to interview me. They liked me enough to go into the next step. So they had me wait again. I was then interviewed by a second person but this time an executive team leader. Liked me in that interview so they offered me a position and I accepted, so they set me up with my orientation date. It was an easy interview. But a lot of waiting. The whole interview process took a little more than 2 hours.

2. Why do you want to work here?
Mostly situational questions....glass door literally covers them all.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
