I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2011
Interview
Applied in October, had a phone call for an interview in November. I had to go through two separate interviews with a team leader (supervisor) and an executive team leader (one up from team leader). Asked me my goal for working for the company, explain a time where I had been tight on time and several other scenarios as to see if I was competent as a team member (employee of target). Right after the interviews, they'll be able to tell you if they'd like to keep you or not. If they do decide to keep you, they'll give you your position you'd be working as and a drug test appointment. For the drug test appointment, they'll set it all up for you, just need to show up to the address they'll give you and pee in a cup. That's the hiring process.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Mansfield, TX) in Aug 2025
Interview
It was an online interview, and I didn't meet anyone face-to-face. So, it was a little awkward to act like myself when I was just looking at a screen rather than actually speaking to a person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Tell me about a time you worked as part of a team to complete a goal."
They give you questions virtually, then time to prepare a response. You don't actually have an interview with a person, your answers to the questions are recorded. A manager will then review your answers and then proceed from there.

Question 1
You notice a guest needs help on the sales floor, but you're in the middle of a task. What do you do?
I applied for the position online, and was called for an interview a few days later. I had interview with a team lead and then an exec team lead. Very straightforward and simple experience overall.
