I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Dublin, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
This was in Dublin, ca. Started with phone interviews and testing, got to the in person interview and things went bad. Sat in a dirty loud break room after I was asked if I was even supposed to be here, they even came back a second time and made me open the email. Finally got back to the interview, and she told me she was forced to do this and they chose randomly, overall body language was hostile and put upon. Standard star interview after that. Luckily I was turned down so I could accept 80% more pay with bonuses and stock options in a Fortune 500 company, the aggressiveness of the interview and the unprofessionalism of the office spoke of a retention mill that had become complacent.
Side story, when I really was still disabled from my combat injury and looking for local work, I came in for a confirmed interview for a team leader job, to find the interviewer not there, and was interviewed by a non HR hourly worker going by a script who then told me they never had the position, but thanks for coming in.

Question 1
What do you think would make you a good fit for this role?
I applied through university. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
