I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Tinley Park, IL) in Sep 2012
Interview
For such a low level position I had to go through 4 different interviewers which I thought was absurd for the position. I know people are busy but when you have an interview for a low level position I do not believe waiting over and hour for a scheduled interview is appropriate
Pretty simple process. Went in and interviewed with the Team Lead, most questions were behavioral in nature. Ended up just chatting for a bit and I was offered the job on the spot, then was sent to talk to the Supervising Lead who verified a couple aspects of my application.
It was easy. Pretty straightforward. For a team member, I would not expect more which is actually a really good thing. The manager was nice as well and made the process easy.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (San Bruno, CA)
Interview
Phone interview, and orientation right after. Not much else at the time. Scheduled for orientation with a few other people. After orientation, a drug screening scheduled, and was called back about a week or so afterwards to start work.
